Good Start for your Chillout Collection

"Lounge-influenced triphop has been around since the middle 1990s, and still hasn't grabbed the mainstream by the throat. So the frequent 9-11 allusions to Chill's "popularity" always leaves me befuddled, because the average man on the street still has absolutely no idea who Air, Zero 7, or Massive Attack are. That's a shame, because these artists are among the best of the Chill movement, creating well-produced downtempo pop with retro and electronica overtones. If you'd like to learn more about this interesting and overlooked modern pop genre, "The Chillout Session" provides a two-CD sampler to the works of artists and producers you've probably never heard of. Once you listen this music, you may get hooked on this primarily European genre. I know I did!"
Quite Good

"I like every one of the MOS Chillout CD's with the 2002 one being my favorite. This one is quite good as well, I listen to it all the time at work (along with other MOS chillout CDs and some Cafe Del Mar stuff and others)and it makes the day go by smoother. It is also good to for listening to in the car or after a night out dancing. While I do not much care for their dance selections (too pop dance for me) whoever is in charge of choosing the chill stuff at MOS is doing a good job."
