Christmas Carols extraordinaire

"I found this CD by chance, looking at the Roy Orbinson website. This is a CD from Orby Records Inc. If you like Christmas Carols, and who doesn't, and if you want a change from the choral versions, then this is the CD for you. Even moreso, if you have any sort of appreciation for Celtic arrangements and instrumentation.This CD provides the traditional Carols in an Irish environment. Is there any lover of music who does not appreciate instruments featuring singularly or in unison, such as the guitar, piano/pump organ, bodhran, percussion, bass, flute, uillean pipes, fiddle, cello, accordion, tin whistle. All of these and more on this CD.And some songs deserve to be played at the highest decibels possible, such as Little Drummer Boy. Wow. What a performance from the musicians. If there is a better traditional Christmas CD then I have yet to hear it. I know we all have different tastes in music but I would find it hard to believe that any Christmas Carol fan would not go overboard after listening to this CD. Do yourself a favour and buy it. You wont be disappointed."
