CD Reviews

It is the GREATEST

"Anyone who likes Broadway can't afford to pass up this gem. The songs are, for the most part, digitally remastered from the original DECCA Broadway LPs.Although I have some of the older DECCA LPs as well as some of the more recent original cast recordings, none compare with the quality and the absolute thrill of hearing such legends as Alfred Drake, Gertrude Lawrence, John Raitt, Ethel Merman, Bobby Van and others, as well as some of today's Broadway stars, such as Bernadette Peters, Betty Buckley, etc., all doing what they did/do best: singing. This compilation is a true masterpiece of modern technology; it brings both the greats of the past and the present together on one spectacular CD."
Adjective trouble but a nice little collection

"If copywriters for recording companies were held by the Truth in Advertising laws, most would be out of a job. Now make no mistake, the collection that Decca calls "
A delight!

"I must admit, I bought this primarily for Adam Pascal's rendition of "Seasons of Love" from my favorite musical Rent. Can you imagine how delighted I was to discover I enjoyed the entire cd? So much so that I went out and bought the DVD version of this same title. Both are worth having if you consider yourself a true fan of Broadway."
