"2007's The Birth Of Surf went back to 1958 and travelled to the mid 1960s with a fantastic array of well known and highly unknown artists of this genre.

The Birth Of Surf 2 has a lot to live up to and succeeds in providing another 26 original artists, original recordings of a wide range of surfing bands.

I love The Ventures, Walk - Don't Run, also The Chantays, Monsoon, while Jim Messina And His Jesters bring The Thing and Bobby Fuller And The Fanatics, Our Favourite Martian.

The Ace Records notes are very informative, this is a superb compliation for any surfing dude, now can you direct me to the nearest beach?"
