"I bought this cd in a box set when it was released. It came with volumes one through five, and out of all of them, this one is the best. It is the only cd in the set that has survived twelve years, and I still listen to it regularly. It is old-school, and most people that will buy this cd will not be impressed with it, but personally, it is very nostalgic for me and a lot of the tracks are good even for today's standards. Remember, this cd preceedes Cakewalk and other computer programs that make up the tracks of present day."
Good mix of techno music, but not the best mix.

"While the cd has maybe 2 or 3 good tracks it would have been better for them to have had a theme for the cd album. With a theme they could have added more music that would match the 2 or 3 good tracks of music. On the whole though they did a pretty good job."
Truly original music made for groovy robots

"This CD came as a shock. I had never heard such a classic sound done in an original way like this CD. And so many artists that I had never heard before. I loved how the whole comp flowed very nicely into each other without awkward songs in between.
I used to listen to tracks like these all the time back in the early days of raves and techno's blossoming arrival upon the masses. Tracks like GTO's "Bullfrog," Speedy J's track, and Nexus 21's track are amazing. They're not fulltime party-songs, they let you do your thing to them, and that's what the beauty of this CD is.
If you want a great, groovy comp to impress some of your elitist techno buddies, add this to your cart."
