"This collection is just FANTASTIC! It's much better then Volume 1. I've been driving around L.A. blasting this for a week and I'm still not tired of it. This brings back memories of clubbing in the 80's all the fun I used to have. "How to Pick up Girls" is really schmaltzy and the weakest track on this CD. "Helpless", "She Has A Way", "Shoot Your Shot", "Tack a Chance On Me", "Best Part of Breaking Up", and "Calling All Boys" were club standards in their day. "West End Girls" was a complete surprise, as it must be the original version before the Pet Shop Boys got their own sound. It sounds like Bobby Orlando all the way and even the lyrics are a bit different. A whole lotta fun!The sound quality is perfe1ction on this CD and is really a must have for 80's club music collectors and aficionados!"
Slightly different track listing than stated...

High Enegy From the Great Bobby Orlando!

"Yes, maybe all the artists use the same synth and drum machine but this is basically because the producer is Bobby Orlando. Depeche Mode uses the same synth sounds, and so do Erasure, which gives them their recognizable sound, which also gives Bobby O his unmistakable sound. Today, the songs featured sound outdated amongst trance, house, and dance. Nevertheless, this cd shows the beginning of it all, and the songs are great. Bobby O has some of the best productions, even if the same sounds are sometimes used by him over and over. He knows how to use his limited technology and get the best from it. The results: "Helpless" by the Flirts, among many others. This is a wonderful cd, and it summarizes the best of high energy that suddenly died into the form of house. You don't have to be an 80's music fan to enjoy this production. Get it before it goes out of stock!"
GREAT SELECTION OF HITS

"This is one of the "HOT" productions that work. I bought this primarily for "Helpless" by the Flirts but I am also familiar with most of the other tracks. It is a shame that "West End Girls" is the short version and while the CD has 13 tracks, only 12 are listed on the CD covers ("Love Attack" is omitted from the listing and is a LONG version - they could have shortened this one)."
