"I love this CD so much that I made a special trip back to place my review. I collect solos finger-style music, and of all the fine compilation albums I have, this one stands out as the only production that exclusively features the early English players that forged the trail for today's contemporary, "new age", finger-stylists.I dont claim to be a musicologist, but I know enough about the history of this artform that without this group of artists that cut the edge in the 60s-70s, contemporary fingerstylists might not never have been the same. Bensusan, Hedges, De Grassi, Kottke, all influenced and inpired by this crew.Absolutely beautiful, and all the tracks are from old recordings, some from albums that are no longer available. Frankly, Im surprised there are not more reviews of this CD. Lastly, the cool artwork on the CD of 15th century surrealist painter, Hieronymus Bosch is a nice bonus. This is a 6 star and a REAL collector in the literal definition."
