CD Reviews

Feeling a little groovy?
croncho | Mexico City, Mexico Mexico | 12/17/1999

"Hi, first of all congratulations if you ever arrive to this point, that says a lot of good things about yourself. On a trip to europe last summer I had the chance of buying this double cd, I most say I was a little concern at the begining that it would live up to it's title but honestly I think this is one cd you will enjoy a lot. With a world class line up and groups like board of canada and Doris Day, this is one of my favourite compilations one that I really treasure. A real pleasure to play late at night when you are back from clubbing or having a drink with a special someone, you are home now, almost ready to sleep but feel something is missing. Sounds for lovers of downtempo and the afterhours music and mood"
Great compilation

"Bought this on a whim and was stunned to find a ton of songs that I had heard but had no idea who they were. Both a great introduction for beginners to the genre and and nice addition for someone who has built up a collection."

""~I bought this compilation on a trip I took to London in April of 1999. I was in a trendy shoe store and found myself listening intently to the music. I asked what it was. I then saw it hours later staring at me at Tower Records at Picadily Square. I bought it immediately. contemporary classical, funk, jazz, or techno. All listeners will benefit from these CDs."
