FITTING TRIBUTE

"Having been a huge fan of both Tommy Bolin and Glenn Hughes, I was very pleased to find this C.D. The only thing that could've made it better would of course been having Tommy Bolin still alive to have played on it. Glenn Hughes is in top form though, and the songs have never sounded better. A great addition to the C.D. are the Deep Purple songs "You Keep On Moving" and "Getting Tighter" as well as the Glenn Hughes composition "Coast to Coast" I would highly recommend this to any one that was into Deep Purple during the "Come Taste The Band" era."
Glenn Hughes Burns the Bluebird Theatre to the Ground

"I waited 12 years to see Glenn perform. Finally got my chance in Denver. This disc comes directly from the denver shows at the Bluebird Theater. The night of the first show it was announced that Glenn would not be doing an acoustic set. He would do a full on rock set of Tommy?s music, and some of his own! Glenn came into town on Thursday, put a band together, and was going to play Friday night. Only the Voice could pull that off! The beginning of the show was a stripped down version of Teaser - the title track from the Tommy Bolin album. Glenn confidently slinked onstage, acknowledged our enthusiastic reception, and began to sing. His charisma and voice were more intense than I could have imagined. The next hour and a half more than made up for the twelve year wait to see Glenn. He slinked around the stage like a cool cat, just singing his heart out and taking in the attention. Glenn?s voice is amazing. He effortlessly alternated between low, smooth jazzy vocal lines and high-end, bluesy, meat grinder vocal lines. He has so much control it is unreal. He has to be one of the most prolific and eclectic singers in the world. He is certainly my favorite. I wish him well on upcoming album and his effort to secure a broader audience. Glenn is ready...and I know we are..."
