Don't waste your money

"I do not recommend this CD or any of the other CDs of the "101 Greatest Country Hits" which is a 10-CD collection. About half of the 101 songs are not the original master recordings, but are re-recordings which totally ruins the collection!! On this particular volume, It's Such a Pretty World Today and Tennessee Waltz are remakes, while the rest are the original hit versions. On re-recordings of a classic country hit by the same artist, most of the time the artist has lost their voice and sounds terrible. Also, the instrumentation is different and the quality of the original hit recording is not there at all! And it's not uncommon for a collection of re-recordings to be thrown onto a country artist's greatest hits CD instead of the originals. If you want to hear a comparison between originals and remakes, then go ahead and by this collection. Otherwise, it's not worth your money!!"
