Funky Icelandic alternative at its best

"Do you like Garbage, Veruca Salt, and Björk? How about them all put together? Say hello to Unun, a band formed by Björk's ex-husband Thor Eldon. Super Shiny Dreams is a English version of the band's 1994 album Ae, which was voted Album of the year in Iceland. The music varies greatly- the tracks "Unun", "I See Red", and "SOS Aurora" are all punkish, while the rest of the tracks are all different. Fans of the Cardigans will like "Premiere", while those who like Garbage will like the quickness of "Ve La Gonssezze!". Another plus is that Heida Eiriksdottir, the lead singer, is like Bjork, but a little less crazy and not so accented. 'Cubes fans will appreciate the seldom screaming of Dr. Gunni, as compared to the crazy ranting of Einar Orn. Go out and buy this- it's worth it."
