Great Album for fans; Fun stuff for the average listener

"The Unlovables return with more pop-punk, upbeat sounds! If you were a fan of "Crush Boyfriend Heartbreak", you'll find that many of these tracks is more of the same - but suprisingly that's not terrible - the theme is a nice feel. If you're new to The Unlovables, you'll find that music has a fun, manic poppy feel.
Probably the biggest differential between the albums is that here the New York trio has developed a little more maturity. The songs are very much quick, energetic shots of music, but more noticable are the changes to a slower beat in some songs. Also, while songs remain a mix of pop sweet and punk sour - there's also a little more depth of feeling in the mix.
"Sweet Sweet Boy" is a reflective of that, bringing a little more uncertainty of emotion. "What You Want" adds a mix of slower and faster beats to create an interesting sound (fans of CN's Adult Swim may recognize it as part Bleach's intro ad). "Samantha" seems a change of theme from previous efforts, although it retains the same musical style.
Overall, this album is very much in the punkish style that The Unlovables are known for. The album has some variations from their previous work, but not a great deal. If you're looking for something upbeat, or maybe even retroesque, then this is worth a look."
