CD Reviews

This proves just how bad Motley Crue & Kiss really are!!!!!!

"Most of your reviews are from Bruce Kulick & Kiss fans. Well I'm the opposite, became a Union fan because of John Corabi and Kiss never was a favorite of mine. With this release both John and Bruce make their former bands look really bad. Without a doubt, John Corabi is the most underrated Vocalist around and should be consider one of the best. He has it all and rate him up their with Steven Tyler. The big surprise for me was Bruce Kulick. What a talented guitarist. Because never could get past Gene or Paul's ego so never really listened to Kiss. Got to say, I'm glad I'm not Gene or Paul because Bruce makes them both look like Idiots for firing him for Ace Frehley. This is a must have have release with two huge anthems on it being "Old Man Wise" and Love(I Don't Need It Anymore). I also liked the following tracks: "Around Again", "Pain Before Your Eyes", "Heavy D", "Let It Flow", "Empty Soul", Get Off My Cloud" and "Tangerine". Pick this one up, it's worth it!!! Lastly don't forget to pick-up, Union's Live in the Galaxy & The Blues Room, The Scream - Let It Scream Masterpiece and The Crue's S/t release with Bonus tracks. Featuring John on Vocals & Rhythm guitar and the only Crue release worth owning."
Whoa...I'M impressed......

"I just picked this up the other day and let me tell you, it's a VERY strong release. I am so surprised it didn't do better! That goes to show how much radio stations suck nowadays! Unlike many of today's artists, the songs actually carry the weight of this cd. MOst bands come out distorted, fast and heavy with no emotion or no groove whatsoever. However, Union's debut release is an excellent listen. At times, heavy, yet emotional, It's everything but boring. Union combines heavy riffs, groove, and melody with the alternative sound consistant with the era of it's release. Like a combo of Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Kiss and the John Corabi era of Motley Crue...all rolled into one! Highlights include, Around Again, Pain Behind Your Eyes, and my personal favorite Love. There are many highlights on the cd, but those are the strongest ones. Why only 4 and not 5 stars? I feel that Bruce could have done more solos. He does some brilliant ones no doubt, but if I had been producing, he would have had callouses upon callouses! Bruce is a fabulous guitar man worthy of more recognition than he receives. His time with Kiss says it all...he was Kiss' BEST guitarist BY FAR! Corabi's vocals and songwriting is THE feature on this release. John is another one that deserves more recognition than he receives. A superb musician, songwriter and vocalist, it's a shame he's wasting his time touring with Ratt. No disrespect to Ratt, but Corabi should have MANY platinum records on his wall by now..but hey, touring DOES pay the bills! A toast to Union for such a awesome cd...one of these days, the music industry will wake up and discover what the fans knew all along."
