CD Reviews

Redundant Sleep Aid
Thomas R. Vance | Newland, N.C. U.S.A. | 07/19/2009

"I am a die hard U2 and I buy single cd's.

However this one is a waste. You think that you are getting a bargain with 9 remixes. Great marketing!

However all mixes are too repetitive and redundant. All remixes are too long and nothing sticks out about them. What happened to an ocassional

B-side song from U2?

Love U2 and I think that they are the best band on Earth, however this single is extremely weak. I feel asleep listening to this."
WHAT?!?!?! ONLY 10 VERSIONS?!?!?!

"Come on U2. You think you can only come up with 10 mixes of the same song? We listened to all 10 and we are hungry for more!!!! Why did you leave out the reems of other mixes for this song? How about a part 2 with maybe 15 MORE remixes of the same song (who needs B sides anyway?) Why not include the "pancake mix"? We heard that one was really light and fluffy. And many of us are just itching to get our hands on the "Three men in a tub rub a dub dub club mix". We heard that one was sloshy and fun."
Dance mixes in abundance
James J. Whitfield | Milton Keynes, UK | 05/15/2010

"The actual track itself takes some getting used to - it's not U2's finest work. However, the dance mixes (and yes, there are 9 of them) do work. They are typically synth, club orientated - nothing too outrageous and all generally listenable (if not repetative by the end of the CD). If you are expecting guitars, buy another U2 CD."
