"I recently heard about the new band Truth On Earth at a local OBAMA meeting. The release is called "Achieving Peace through Non-Violent Protest". I haven't ever heard or seen anything quite like this in my lifetime. Here's a band of three nice lookin young ladies. Well their voices sound young but mature. The 12 songs (5 unplugged) are each about major problems in the world and solutions we should be bringing. The music sounds like it is a buffet of folk rock bands of the early 70's which is one of my favorite periods of rock. The backing musicians are hard core and I swear the flute player sounds like the guy who played on Jethro Tull Aqualung. But what's really profound is that each sound is about a key problem the band is trying to help solve. And they give 70% of their profit to the causes so it is not about them.

For example, their name Truth On Earth and the release is based on the life work of Gandhi who believed that the best way to achieve peace was through truth and non-violent protest which was also is the guy who motivated Martin Luther King's Civil Rights Movement. The Truth On Earth mission is to fix the problems and then leave the planet in good condition so future generations will have a planet worth inheriting. Who the heck else do you know that is doing serious music about cberbullying, starvation, world hunger, animal abuse, child abuse and the effects of war and media exposure to name a few?

Just buy their damn music and then you can do what I am doing to make even more of a difference by going to their take action page at truthonearthband.com/action.html and following all the suggestions and getting everyone else to as well.

T.O.E. has released a hard core video on Factory Farming with their song on the subject and they have one coming on Cyberbullying and starvation.

You can listen to all of the songs in generous clips at the web site so I hope Amazon soon supplies any audio samples and iTunes should give a longer sample clips so people can hear more of them and spend more time

This band could change the world significantly in my lifetime, and they already deliver great music in the process. So Grammy's - watch out for them in the best new artist category.

Great Music for a Great Cause by Nothing But the Truth On Ea

"Truth On Earth is a Band on a mission featuring three sisters that sound like a rainbow of old and new, influenced by `60's & `70's rock such as Creedence Clearwater, Lynard Skynard, Jethro Tull, Eric Clapton and Santana.

The band name, lyrical messages and powerful world-changing mission are based upon the work of Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi, one of the greatest spiritual leaders of all time and the basis of Martin Luther King, Jrs Civil Rights movement. Gandhi said that Peace could best be achieved through truth and non-violent protest and he proved it for a time by causing the end of a century of British rule over India. One small man had a giant influence. So the band is named in Gandhi's honor to carry on his work and ideals through the universal language of music to a planet that is struggling greatly just as it always has to understand and apply

this very simple and highly effective principle.

The band's main goal is to raise consciousness to a level where, over time, everyone can become part of the solutions instead of just living the experience of the problems. This way the problems can be fixed and the planet can be left in a condition that saves it from destruction and makes it worth inheriting by future generations.

Name one person who thinks this band is a bad idea. Exactly! There isn't any because it's an awesome idea. I'm surprised nobody else has thought about it sooner. There is real social action going on here and they give 70% of their profits to causes making a difference to the problems they sing about like Cyberbullying, child abuse, drug addiction, animal abuse, the effects of war and media over-exposure to name a few.

At truthonearthband.com they have a huge take action page but if you just spend a few bucks on their music you are already making a difference. Buy their music and tell everyone you know to and then round up your posse and get busy on their take action page..."
