"Slow Ride" was my introduction to Kenny Wayne Shepherd's music. I saw a television program where he played this song and I had to have the album!
It's a mixture of blues and blues-rock with ear-catching guitar play.

The title track is played with Double Trouble, Stevie Ray Vaughan's band. The solos on that song are fantastic!
"Blue On Black" gets a lot of airtime and that's another of the strong songs on this cd.
There are some cover tunes like Bob Dylan's "Everything is Broken", and the Hendrix classic "I Dont Live Today".

Is it a good disc? Yes.
Not Kenny Wayne's best all things considered. I prefer "Live On" slightly more.
