"An excellent debut album for a bright shining, up-and-coming star in the Midwest. Shields' style can be described with many words ranging from quirky to earthy to relatable... but at the end of the day, the best way to describe his music is... "his own." He copies from no one, his music style resembles no one that comes to mind, yet when you listen, you can't help but try to enter his mind for a bit and understand his lyrics, if only for a second. Good stuff... buy his CD and find out for yourself."
