Synopsis

Album Description
Vitamin Records presents a string quartet tribute to this vital band taking their music to a different level. Talented classical musicians use violins, viola, and cello to transform My Chemical Romance?s aggressive sound into string driven magic. Tracks such as "Honey, This Mirror Isn?t Big Enough for the Two of Us," "Helena," and "Hang ?Em High" resonate and shimmer with new fervor. The melodic heart of each song is uncovered in these stunning instrumental interpretations.

CD Reviews

Excellent tribute
Kill Your Heroes | Lockport, NY USA | 06/06/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I love this cd. It does MCR a lot of justice. I do think that they deter somewhat from the originals, but I think it adds to the cd. The Jetset Life is Gonna Kill You is a great cover. It blends perfect elements. I like the cd, but I wouldn't pay 17 dollars for it like they are asking for on here."

"It is not a horrible cd at all, but I would not suggest people who do not really like their music get it. Some of the ways they wrote the stuff out could of been better to stay more true to the original, but over all I like it."
