Appreciation of Trance
Jack Tsan | Houston, TX, USA | 01/08/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This Trancemaster album to me is truly one of my favorites. It solely has to do with one of the best Trance tracks I've ever heard. "Manjaro - Apperception (Dance 4 Peace Theme)" is a track that gives a great perception of what the sounds of Trancemaster albums are all like. Listen carefuly to this piece especially the beginning as it carries out a continuous beat then it slowly developes and inputs other complex beats (great combinations). The 3rd introduced beat helps to climax the track. The best part comes about 3:35 into the song, with a small chiming sound coming and fading then slowly hitting that final beat to end the introduction and to the climax. Once you hit the middle it introduces a flute solo which is extremely soothing and most wonderfully matched with the beat. If you want a superb compilation mix I suggest looking into Armin Van Buuren - Boundaries of Imagination.Supporting the magnifiscent track of "Manjaro - Apperception" are quite splendid. For example "Rising Star - Touch Me." It presents a devine and spiritual sound followed by a female vocal repeating the words of "Touch Me" (listen and picture yourself appreciating the great variety and friendly sounds of Trance that Trance has become an intenty so powerful and devine you want to touch it making sure it's not a dream)...touch her heart...touch the great sounds of trance. Then you also have "Deniro - State Of Mind." This track gives an alternating beat and a dramatic classical melody. It'll engross you to want to continue to listen to the constant melody and never wanting it to end. These tracks are just in CD1 of this Trancemaster 23 album, I can't stress how CD2 (great tracks: Yves Deruyter - Factor Y, Love Nation, and more) is just as great."
