CD ReviewsLovely layers chris | brooklyn, ny USA | 02/28/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "bowed stringed instruments, guitar, chimes, piano, squeezebox and others playing gentle (but not spineless), sweetly hypnotic music. the pieces on this album are all very satisfying. partly because they are all long enough to reward you with inner mutations both subtle and drastic. on a whole the songs seem to rely more on harmonic shifts and gradual variations in repetative themes than on chord progression or obvious melody.an awfully good record."
