Outstanding enjoyable set!

"This is a super set of 10 classical music cds. Each one covers the top ten pieces from a different time period. Even if you don't know most of the names of the pieces, you will probably recognize most of the music. Each piece is rendered by a different orchestra such as the London Philharmonic for "The Marriage of Figaro" to the Vienna Mozart Ensemble and many others. This is a basic beginner set for people who own no other Classical or who can't decide or identify which of 'that music' they like. You should definitely try it. It's a great price for a very good collection."
A good beginning collection at an affordable price

"These are the familiar songs that you (well, at least I) never tire of hearing. Sure, I think of a Bugs Bunny cartoon when I hear Rossini's "Barber of Seville", or the old TV show "The Paper Chase", whenever I hear "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik", but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate classical music. All the "big boys" are here, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, etc., as well as some familiar songs by perhaps less familiar composers, such as "Pomp and Circumstance" (Elgar)and "Flight of the Bumblebee" (Rimsky-Korsakov) A bargain at only 2 bucks a CD, this set will provide you with many pleasant hours of delightful music."
