"Absolutely fabulous album, it's such a novelty to own it because it's so hard to find. It's totally worth it-- Underscore includes 14 tracks of pure bliss. If you enjoy Underscore I also definately recommend purchasing Archetype as well."

"New to Tonedeff? I'd suggest you check out "Archetype" before-hand, since it is the album he's wanted to put out all his life. But that doesn't mean that "Underscore" needs to go overlooked. This album was basically released as a teaser, or a preview to Archetype, and it certainly serves it's purpose. What the album lacks in direction, it makes up for with solid to great songs. With songs like "Safety First," "Hypocrite," "TNT," "Give A Damn," "Frequency," and the "Love Ain't [rmx]," Tonedeff released a compilation of songs that contend with most artist's official albums."

"Underscore is just what an EP should be. A collection of dope songs that just don't fit with your LP. Mostly bangers and fun, crazy tracks.. It's got nothing on Tonedeff's LP "Archetype" but it's definitely got some gold on it (TNT, Give A Damn, Safety First, Hypocrite, etc). It's currently out of print and if you're a hardcore QN5 fan or even a regular fan.. It's a nice addition to the CD collection."
