"If the title song made it on to US airwaves, it would catch on and stay on. It'd be a refreshing addition to the format I've stopped listening to for many years now (my car stereo is just for news and my own cds anymore.)It took me a while to make the connection between this song and "The Brilliant Green's" vocalist Kawase Tomoko. I had heard the tail end of the song on a Japanese radio station, and I heard it featured on a Daihatsu CM. From there, I finally found out that I had already been listening to the "mystery artist's" work when I played "Los Angeles." I also had tried to find the artist by looking up Jpop from the 1980s! Tommy February 6 is Tomoko-chan's bookish alter ego. The songs she does as Tommy February are more or less in the spirit of the upbeat high energy 80s, and she's working as a solo artist instead of with the incredible Brilliant Green. Douzo!
