Album Description

Tom Kimmel writes, "With me, first comes the song, then comes the work tape. These recordings, made over a period of time to document new songs, were never meant to see the light of day, but when I recently stumbled across several of them I was struck by how vibrant and fresh the performances seemed to me. Sifting through these tracks, which were recorded at home, usually using a single mic, the idea of collecting the best of them for this album took shape. -- Fans have been asking me for years to make an album that sounds JUST LIKE one of my solo live performances, and this album is IT."
