"I've always claimed there are many great singer/ songwriters most people never heard of and Jans was one of them. This album and "Take Heart" with Mimi Farina are highlights . Check it out if you can find it. Unfotunately, Tom died in 1984 in a motorcycle accident. Kind of ironic considering..."

At The Crux & Alias I), and Tonio K. (Life In A Food Chain & amerika) are all wonderful singer songwriters whose work ranks with Dylan, Springsteen, John Prine, or anyone else you can think of, as some of the best America has to offer! Buy this CD if you can afford it! It just makes me sick that big busymess record companies don't release this CD so everyone can afford it!"

"I haven't listened to Tom Jans in twenty years or so but this album's new release came just in time for me during a period I was drawn to my early 20s. So sweet to hear this music again and reflect the words of the song which come direct from the heart of a very soulful country singer. All numbers have something special. A must listen and have for everyone who loves pop music the way it should be."
