Tom Brantley creates something unique by adding his own creative vision to the framework of jazz. Composer/saxophonist Jack Wilkins contributes the title track as well as LazyBone, which features Rex Richardson on trumpet. Composers Jerald Shynett and David Gluck also contribute new tracks that expand the strike zone of trombone performance, and arranger David Stamps offers a new take on the oft-heard Saint-Saëns Adagio from the Organ Symphony--but with the Hammond B3 supporting the trombone soloist.
