"My discovery of this album was completely serendipitous. I just happened to see Toledo's show at a club in Cleveland and I purchased his CD that night because the show was so good.Toledo's unique, rough voice really makes the album. It fits perfectly with the dark, moody feel and the stories of the seedier side of urban life. 1940's drum kit, stand-up bass, guitar and saxophone feature prominently on the album. The music and Toledo's voice come together extremely well and make this a great acid jazz album."

"I'm not sure if it's because I have seen The Toledo Show or what, but I find it difficult to stop listening to him. He is truly unique and takes you on an emotional roller coaster. There aren't words to accurately describe how incredibly talented this man is. Beyond a worthwhile purchase!"
