LONG ROAD BACK , the latest offering from the Todd Wolfe Band and follow up to their very successful 2013 release, Miles To Go , reflects the band s continuous touring from coast to coast, across the Atlantic and to the Far East. These new songs impart the challenges, joys and compromises of a life dedicated to making music and taking it around the world. The material was written and then seasoned while TWB spent over 200 nights on the road. Longtime guitar ace Todd Wolfe is known for his work with Sheryl Crow, as well as Carla Olson (The Textones), and Leslie West (Mountain) but has established a sound of his own and with his band-mates, Roger Voss (drums & backing vocals), Justine Gardner (bass & backing vocals) and the return of Hammond Organ wizard, John Ginty, on this latest album. They cross musical boundaries of roots, rock, blues and jam music reminiscent of seventies bands, yet this album is not revivalist. The music is new, fresh and now.
