Synopsis

Product Description
Todd Gholar started in music as a teenager. He used to sing in the church choir every Sunday in southern Mississippi. He then began playing keyboard in church, although he only knew how to play a couple of songs at first. Over the years, he began leading, teaching, playing, and directing more songs. By the time Todd moved to Virginia in 2002, he had also learned how to play drums and bass. He became quickly known for on bass guitar, playing for several artists and churches in the VA/DC/MD areas. In March of 2007, God instructed Todd to put together a gospel group that would be willing and ready to praise God unconditionally. Although unconfident in his own abilities, Todd was sure of God's instructions and set out to fulfill the vision. Unconditional Praise (commonly called UPraise or UP) was birthed. UPraise is comprised of young adults throughout the northern Virginia and surrounding areas who are committed to praising God unconditionally through gospel music. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the direction of Todd, UPraise is dedicated to serving God and ministering to His people. Neither money or fame is a factor. But spreading the word of God and touching His people is the key factor of the group. In August 2007, God granted UP's first album to be released: Stay Strong. The album is contemporary Gospel with multiples flavors.
