The most enigmatic salsa sonero of his generation.

"Tito Allen is one of the most underrated and enigmatic soneros of his generation. Although best known as the lead singer on Ray Barretto's "Indestructible" (1973) and Tipica 73's "Rumba Caliente" (1976) albums, he has never (in my opinion) received his due acclaim and recognition as a solo artist. This Louie Ramirez-produced set is near-perfect, however, with such superb numbers as "Voy A Perder La Cabeza", "Tu Y Mi Cancion", "Sun Sun Babae" and "Mi Chiquita Quiere Bembe" being your reasons for buying this CD."
