CD Reviews

ANOTHER EXCELLENT ALBUM OF THE 70s
Dan C. Mercado | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 05/17/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Hey y'all! Lookin' for somethin' different? Here's somethin' kinda unique! One of the roots of heavy metal groups these days. It's also the time when great rock bands roam the earth! Great guitar works by Floyd Radford, Jeff Cole on lead vocals & bass and Mike Logan on drums & vocals.

Finally, I've received my CD from Amazon.com. A friend of mine got this album in vinyl when we're still young and that was during my high school days (30 years ago). So I've heard the album many times already during those days. I haven't had the chance to buy this album when I was in high school but surely lucky enough this time that I've got an excellent copy in the form of a CD. It's a superb album! Songs like "Personal Gain", "Silver Dollar", "I want your body" and "Be good and be kind". Edgar Winter had played organ on "You've gone too far". Rick Derringer had played piano on "30 Weight blues".

It was Floyd Radford on lead guitar on this album. So you'll hear a guitar virtuoso in this album too. Floyd Radford played with Johnny Winter on the album "Johnny Winter - Captured Live" (This is another must for collectors).

Go get the album Tin House and start reminiscing the good old days!
