"well... i only gave it 4 stars, as i have really yet to run across something i felt deserved a 5 star (5 stars being "perfect"...good luck). this is a very good album, and a strong debut for tiger army. of course they have now turned out three albums, and released their early stuff on ep as well. this album is a little bit more raw than their other ful lengths. this is not necessarily a bad thing. they mix up the "psychobilly" styles quite well... a creative belnd of punk rock, rockabilly, 50's style rock and roll (the roots of rockabilly, and punk rock), and even some country influences. favorite tracks are "devil girl", and "outlaw heart". which is odd, cause i regard most country music as garbage, yet tiger army blends thier influences well, and i am particularly fond of their more country influenced tracks. by all means, if you are remotely interested in this style of music, you could pick up any of their discs, and you most likely wouldn't be disappointed. the later two full length albums are a bit better produced, and are definitely cleaner mixes, but are good in their own right as well."
