"I wouldn't even have cared if all the other songs on the cd were [bad], Mjolner and Urkraft are absolutley excellent! I would reccomend this cd to any black/viking metal fan, even some people who dont like black metal can appreciate their music."

"This album is not only the best Thyrfing album, this album is the best viking metal album period. This album has quickly become one of my all-time favorite albums. There is not a song on here I do not like.



The clean-sung vocals on Mjolner and Urkraft, the acoustic interludes near the end of Home Again, and the powerful beginning of Jord are my personal favorite parts of the album. However, every song is excellent and make this album worth every penny you will spend.



If its possible, I would try to get the version with the bonus track "Over the Hills and Far Away." Its a cover that is entirely clean-sung, and so it doesn't really sound like anything else on the album. It makes for a good listen, though."
