Synopsis

Album Description
With a firm understanding of the D.I.Y. policy and a hardcore aesthetic, Throwdown serve up their second longplayer to the applause of just about every surfer on Australia's East Coast. It's an eighties styled mish mash of So Cal hardcore and thrash which is reminiscent of D.R.I., 7 Seconds and Dag Nasty.

CD Reviews

NOT THE RIGHT THROWDOWN!!!
Li'l Beavis | Highland | 10/18/2005
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This album is garbage. It's not the Throwdown that kicks ass, this Throwdown is an Australian band that plays surfer punk music and doesn't deserve the name Throwdown. I thought it was an early album of the real Throwdown but I was wrong and wasted 15 bucks."
1980's Thrash Metal/Australian Surfer Punk
Joshua M. Thompson | 07/11/2009
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Many people and websites, including amazon, zune, etc. have mistaken this 1980's thrash metal band from Australia with the US Pantera/Hatebreed sound-a-like Throwdown. Check out myspace to hear the music and get the story. If you like Punk and old thrash metal then this is a great album. Not to mention rare! But do not mistaken the new Throwdown from the US with this old band from the 80's.
