Synopsis

Product Description
The End Of The Beginning began as a collaboration of work between Scott Rock, an aspiring singer/guitarist and Sean Douglas, an aspiring rapper, who met through internet music ads and found they had a common interest in combining rock and hip-hop in different melodic ways. The first track they wrote and recorded was Jimmy Dean and from there other songs developed. Over the course of 3 years Thought Crime labored on their debut EP. After playing with various studio drummers and dj's, they finally decided to incorporate more permanent members into the group with the addition of guitarist extraordinaire Kenji, who added his unique style of melodies to the modern rock-styled songs The Answer and Waiting For The Day. The songs on the CD represent a partial spectrum of the styles Thought Crime are all about: rock, hip-hop, metal, funk, acoustic ballads, and poetry all come together as one. The ups and downs of life, turning hard times into inspirational moments, feeling alienation, having no fear- you can hear these types of feelings and an urgency in their lyrics, and the music is catchy enough to be relatable to by many.
