Honestly. Like Same Cook said 'It's been a long time coming, but I know a change gone come'. That's how I feel about the past twenty years. I've learned a lot about Love, Life and what having Faith really means while writing these songs. Thinking back on when I wrote the first song for this cd and I had no idea that it would take 20 years for me to write and record it. It's had several different names throughout the years, depending on what mood I was in I guess, but for the last ten, I feel the title Honest Woman fits best. I had a lot of self-doubt prior to starting the recording of Honest Woman but during the process of writing these songs and producing this cd, I realized that it is ALL-IN-ORDER. My friends, fans and love ones have always kept me lifted in believing that this cd will be finished when it is time and now THE TIME HAS COME.
