"Recorded at the Rainbow in London in 1980, this album was a showcase of the talent of Third World in a live format. They bring slick instumentation with layered percussion to "African Woman" while injecting a sense of atmospheric, political intensity to the title track. The "roots music" appeal is not lost in a sea of mixing board parlor-tricks, but the fine musicianship of each member is made readily apparent. The free, and open style of the live format seems to transcend the studio versions of "96 degrees" and "Cold Sweat" while the applause only adds a sense of invigoration, inspiring the listener to join in the celebration from the front rows... A surgeon in Southern California, this album is a staple for my O.R. hi-fi. Believe me, more than one patient has asked where they might find this recording to make it their own. This newly released CD of a landmark reggae soundtrack will most certainly be a prized part of anyone's permanent collection."
Where do I find the video

"I really like to know where I can find the video. I even wrote to Mr. Coore directly via the Internet. I'm still waiting for his response. Please let me know where I can find it. My comment as far as Third World band concern, they are the longest running reggae band in the universe. The only band plays live better than studio recorded CDs. I love listening to Mr. Coore playing violent like instrument singing Natural Mystic reinventing the style of playing but keeping the same lyrics and changing the melody in such unique way to make it easy to listen and understand the lyrics. I'm big fan of the Third World. I pray all the members will stay together. I just don't like when one of member leave the band. "Prisoners In the Street" is real docmentary video that projects the real sense of the group message and love. I used to have the video years ago. Now my old VCR eats the tape; therefore, I lost it from my collection. I miss it very much. I probalby seen it more than dozen times. I never got enough of watching it. I search the Internet several times. Now, I'm beginning to give up. I'm amazed not to see the video on Third World official web site. Can someone help on my search."
