CD ReviewsAppallingly bad! D. Lovetere | 02/04/2010 (1 out of 5 stars) "I don't want to waste a lot of time reviewing this. I LOVED their first album. It was my favorite album of 2008. As for this one... I appreciate the band's desire to be progressive, but this will not appeal to people who dig the sound of the first album. Most of the songs sound like reject tracks by Guns N Roses or AC/DC wannabe bands.
I bought this the day it came out, and I haven't listened to it since. Listening to the samples as I type this is literally making me want to stab my eyeballs out. The lead singer's "rock voice" is so grating, I want to jam pens in my ears. I guess they didn't realize the heavy songs were the worst part of the last album, because now they've made an entire album of grating rock songs. I can only hope the next one is less terrible." |
