Treasure amongst the trash

"Thermadore's Monkey on Rico was not a planned purchase. I am a chronic $1 cd buyer. I love those dollar discs or maybe just the thrill of finding a treasure amongst the trash. yeah i know I need to get a life, anywee on this day I couldn't find a thing but how can i walk away w/o at least one [low cost] CD.Thermadore Monkey on Rico was the pick. Good choice as I had found my treasure. This is a great pop/rock cd, well crafted songs and the term "pop sensibility" just popped in my head, but there is an edge to most songs. How could there not be with a song titled 'Punk Rock Beating'. So you get Great rock songs Stone Gossard of pearl jam, Chad Smith of red hot chili peppers, Rain Phoenix and a Andrew Lloyd Weber song (from jesus christ superstar) and all for a buck. Now thats what I'd call a treasure fer sure."
