THERESA TOVA has taken her sultry voice and spontaneous wit from the Cabaret club to the Concert Hall. With a versatility rare on any stage, she began in the early 90?s working as a cabaret club performer in Toronto Canada and quickly became a favourite of audiences in what critics call her "spontaneous house party"-style she is equally comfortable playing to SRO Jazz clubs (Top of the Senator) or to crowds of more than 5,000 (Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts). Now with the release of her critically acclaimed Jazzy Yiddish CD Telling Stories, Ms Tova garners international attention as well.
