A perfectly achieved possibility

"this album is a perfectly achieved possibility of alt. music. two guitarists and a drummer listen so closely to each other and, even more closely, to the feedback and bends of the electric chords, that they manage to create a haunting sound space that has the feel of both the inside of a studio where you paint large and free abstract canvasses and something as mysterious as Mulholland Drive. the opening track (untitled, like an abstract expressionist painting) is fourteen minutes long, and centers around subtle bending of single chords, dialogue with the way feedback creates what sounds like an owl's whooing in the night, and then phasing into distortion filled and kicked sections with the drums.the second track is the one that drew me to the album -it is amazing; just two guitars which manage to create a kind of whirlpool drone of lyrical sound that reverbs like classical indian music yet has a pretty loud underedge. extremely rare and beautiful album."
