Unreal

"This is what I think of when I think of Rock and Roll. Really dirty, fast, cool stuff. I'm shocked that it's not on everyone's 10 best of all time lists."
Birth of a semi-mythical band

"This 1991 release is the first album by Thee Headcoatees, an "all-girl" British garage ensemble that was originally conceived as a side project for the ever-restless, ever-energetic Billy Childish... His stamp is all over this album, although Thee gals eventually took on a life of their own, before the band later broke up at decade's end... Vocalist Holly Golightly has had the longest and most impressive solo career, releasing well over a dozen albums since 1995... This is where it all began, though, a tough, keranngy garage-pop blast, with standout tracks such as "Jaqueline" and "First Plane Home." Recommended."
