"The Uninvited has served up their tastiest slice of music yet with "Malltopia." Their latest release is more carefully crafted and lyrically challenging than past albums. The mix of ironic humor and poignancy is distinctive territory for the Uninvited, but it's the eerily familiar angst and misadventures of the unnamed protagonist that make this a concept album done the right way, and the release their long-time fans haven't known they've been waiting for. If you only buy one Uninvited album this year (and really, shouldn't you buy another one?), this is the one to get. It's a genuine listen-from-beginning-to-end-CD. Just don't loan it to your friends unless you get yourself a spare copy."
