The Silvertones, three-time winners of the best blues award, have been rustling around Dallas since 1993. It's primarily blues, with hints of jazz, swing, rockabilly and rock-n-roll. Silvertone Avenue is their newest album. This is their fifth album overall and third with Deep South Productions. With all 13 original songs written by the various band members, his album takes their music to a new dimension while keeping what they are best known for but also balances that sound with the first time they have recorded any acoustic songs. Like all bands, The Silvertones have had several line-up changes through the years. The band now consists of Brian Wicker (bass), Randy Ball (drums), Leo De La Vega (guitar) and Rob Donavan (guitar).
