"The CD is excellent... i love... its nice to find a band with chic for a lead... she has an excellent voice... the music is great. i got to see them live at the GRAPE STREET PUB, in philly... it was a wonderful show.. the band members did an excellent job... they are all very talented...buy this cd"

"An excellent offering from the Mudhens. The 'Hens are now sporting a new (and improved!) lineup, with the departure of Carla Ryder and the addition of Emily Fontano (formerly of Soupbaby) and Steve Trenouth. As a result, the band has filled out it's sound to a level I had only imagined was possible. "A Whole Lot Bettter" and "Four Leaf Clover" are my two top picks from a tight set.They were good, they are now great!"

"I had heard of these guys on Napster and decided to check out a CD for myself. As soon as I heard this disc I decided I love it. The songs, playing, singing (I love the singer's voice) and production are all top notch. Each listen, I choose a new favorite song, which is how I rank CDs. My favorite right now is Real...the song rocks.On another note, I checked out one of their older CDs, Crickets, and I way prefer their current direction and singer.THESE GUYS ROCK."

"It seems like the Mudhens have finally hit their stride. This EP blows away anything done in the past. Emily has kicked the Mudhen sound up several notches and the band is playing closer to its full potential more so now than ever before. Given how tight a band they are and how fresh the sound is, it makes you wonder just how they remain unsigned while hordes of talentless boybands continue to thrive. Although, I don't think that'll be the case very long. The music is wonderfully produced and the intros and fades into each song are very cleverly done. If this is a sign of things to come, bring on the future now!More Mudhens music, more Mudhens CDs. PLEASE!"
