"There are many compilations of their music but this double-cd is the best of the bunch because it features most of their B-sides, some of which were previously unavailable. This collection underscores the shame it has been that the Marvelettes have never received the recognition they deserve for being not just Motown's first successful girl-group, but the quintessential representation of the genre."
