The set's got a funky groove that's much heavier than some of his other late 70s work, especially some of the more commercial disco efforts, and things are pretty lean throughout, with a real 80s groove focus on beats, basslines, and catchy keyboard bits. Vocals are surprisingly soulful, and wrapped around the rhythms nicely.
