Labeling themselves as Power Pop may be setting boundaries for what could appeal to a wider contemporary audience. If you could visualize a fiddle in a couple of the tracks, it could even cross over to mainstream country. Every now and then a band comes along with this mass appeal ability and makes an immediate impression. The Lemmings happen to be one of them. The first thing you notice about this CD is the great voice of the lead singer then it keeps getting better. The track Jr Mint may well be the power behind the entire package but all are worthy of being added to the favorites you carry with you in your car."
