Synopsis

Product Description
Farm Fresh is a down home, true to life, real country album from people who live it. The Howard's first national release conveys a simpler time and tells of the the simple things that make life full. Cameron and Molly Howard live the life they sing about, and deliver true country folk music Farm Fresh. The Howards sing about their lives on the small farm they work near Corydon, Indiana. "Farm Fresh" is a collection of their own songs about farm life, and covers of some others they love to sing. "Every Time My Heart Goes Home" by Kentucky native Deborah Tuggle features Molly's lyrical voice in a nostalgic reflection on a modern dilemma: city dwellers who long for slower, simpler lives. In his own "I Wish Life Was Hard Again", Cameron Howard reveals the influence his grandfather had on a young boy, while "Simple Things" is descriptive of what lured him to a country life. The wonderful cover of "Sweet Bride" by Kate Rusby features Cameron and Molly sharing a bit of their romance, figuratively if not literally. (And yes, they have horses.) "Do It Again" is Molly Howard's energetic, light-hearted look at the life she and Cameron have shared over the years. Cameron once spent the night in a barn, armed with a shotgun, in hopes of catching a critter that had been raiding the hens. That true and funny story is retold in verse in "Varmint Vendetta". Rounding out the CD are some favorites they have come to love performing.

CD Reviews

Great new talent!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a great, family-friendly album. You feel like you get to know (and like!) the artists as you listen, especially to the original material. "I Wish Life Were Hard Again" is a tear-jerker but uplifting at the same time, and my daughter can't get enough of the clever "Varmint Vendetta." This album is on repeat in our car--we love it!"
