Buffalo, New York natives the Failures Union have been quietly honing their craft since 2004 and are pleased to announce that their new album sinker is their finest and most realized work to date. The Failures Union formed in early 2004 Tony Flaminio recorded a four song demo. He enlisted the help of long-time friend and bandmate Tim Turcott (Copper) and his half brother Jason Draper (Lemuria), and they released the you know how ep on Art Of The Undeground. With sinker Flaminio peppers photo-realistic recollections from the last ten years of his life with surrealistic imagery, blending bad dreams with even worst memories. Songs here have existed in previous bands, in previous marriages, and on old four-track cassette tape albums littered across his room. Luckily for us this cd presents those songs in a concise forty minute package.
